Dasavatharam stills and Movie review

Dasavatharam is a Tamil film directed by K. S. Ravikumar, who with Dasavatharam, directs his fourth feature film with Kamal Haasan.

Kamal Haasan has acted in 10 distinctive roles, becoming the first actor in the world to do so, whilst Asin Thottumkal, who appears in a dual role, and Mallika Sherawat also play leading roles in the film.

The film, which has been under production for over two years, has Himesh Reshammiya [1] as the music composer and Devi Sri Prasad for the background score. The film, announced with a budget of 120 crore Indian rupees, was set to contest with Rajnikanth’s recent film, Sivaji: THE BOSS, in a race to be India’s most expensive film to date, however Dasavatharam was delayed.

The movie is expected to release world wide on june 2, 2008.Having Mallika Sherawat in the film its not gonna be a big deal for our UllagaNayagan Dr.Kamal Hassan to bring Jackie Chan as the chief guest for the music launch!

So when Kamal Haasan wanted Chan to launch the music of his film, Dasavatharam, he asked Mallika to help out.

Mallika had worked with Chan in The Myth, in which she had a tiny role. But the two forged a good friendship during the making of the film as well as their trip to the Cannes film festival.

The audio launch of Dasavatharam was on april 25th.

  1. nice collections…and info

  2. THE STILLS ARE VERY EXITING

  3. Its no doubt a technically perfect film… but its got some disturbing scenes…

  4. Extremely disappointing. Fight scene reminds me about Vijakanth’s stupid stunts. Jokes are the same pattern. Makeup and graphics scene are the worst (cartoon effect). Story was not narrated properly. There are too many coincidences in the movie (2nd role Asin and the Tsunami effect). Just like other Tamil movie, Kamal has failed tremendously to add/maintain the logic part (where on earth a 95 old lady portrayed to be so active – walking on people shoulders! – mind you that’s not a joke scene. And how could they ponder on love scene near the beach just minutes after the Tsunami????? Aren’t the place should be flooded and devastated??). Too many mistakes in the story line if you see it properly.

Check out the attempted rape scene near the sand field (temple) ended. What actually took place there could have been narrated differently but turn out to be totally bullshit.

To those who out there started to curse me, let me tell you one thing. I’m an ardent fan of Kamal but at the same time I’m ROYAL INDIAN who has the guts to boldly tell out what I see and feel.
